Hojicha means “roasted tea” in Japanese. Our Dark Roast Hojicha Powder is made with deeply roasted green tea leaves grown in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The roasted tea leaves that are finely ground into powder imbues a deep reddish-brown color with a fragrant nutty aroma. Its rich, toasty flavor with slightly sweet notes of cocoa makes it a great choice for making lattes, cakes and other Hojicha flavored confectionaries.
