The Art of Roasted Tea
Roasting, frying or heating tea leaves during processing changes its taste and aroma. These processes are found in many tea cultures around the world but are not widely known even to people who regularly drink tea.
Kuro Roasted Tea is dedicated to exploring these flavors and aromas. We start with Japanese hojicha (roasted green tea) and we hope to expand these to other types of teas soon.
